I have a 2004 Envoy Xuv with a cracked exhaust manifold. My mechanic said he has seen a lot of these on the 4.2 and tells me it is due to bad design. My 2004 Envoy Xuv speedodometer stuck at 55mph. I spoke to dealer technician and was told I had to replace the instrument cluster because of a small thing called a stepper motor. This seems to be an on going problem with gm vehicles. I strongly suggest a safety recall because this is failing on thousands of vehicles.
