The dash board on my 2010 GMC has cracked in several areas, including at the passenger airbag. I have strong concerns that the dash will break apart in an accident if the airbag were to deploy and possibly injure occupants in the cabin. The plastic is very brittle and could easily cut someone.

The truck was parked in my driveway when I got in and started the ignition. As soon as I did, the plastic dashboard cracked at the passenger side air bag. One week later, same situation, as I started the ignition, the dash cracked above the driver's side instrument panel. The cracks have continued to grow since…

The dash is my truck has started to crack. From research on the internet I see this is a fairly common occurrence. The dealer said it is not covered although I have an extended warranty. I am unsatisfied with gm and feel this crack dash could be a hazard if an accident were to occur. I would love a compromise from gm…

Dashboard is getting a large crack in it either due to stress or sun heating and cooling(expansion/contraction). This is a pleasure vehicle, no work, nothing ever put on the dashboard. Concern that airbag may not deploy properly.

Driving at any speed when applying light to medium brake pedal (as if slowing to exit interstate highway) brakes begin to pulse. It feels as if its in the rear brake. Taken to dealer several times. They have replaced the shoes and drums twice. It lasts 2k miles and starts all over.

Dealer states that the brake modular and plug are no good. The cost of the repair would be $1200.00. The service traction control light would come on.

30 minutes after my wife parked our 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 pick-up in our detached garage, we heard a boom and I ran outside to see the GMC cab and hood on fire. I immediately thought, my god my wife was just in there and there is no way she could have survived. I proceeded to call 911 and all the neighbors to evacuate…

Parts named most often: defroster/defogger/hvac system.

My 2010 GMC Sierra has an issue with the defroster not doing an adequate job when the temperature goes below 40 degrees. The computer system will not allow you to turn on the A/C to defrost the windows nor will it allow you to turn off the recirculating air. So basically after 40 degrees outside you are just pumping…

Driving at approximately 42 MPH the vehicles warnings lights came on informing me that the stabilitrac needed service, traction control was no longer working and the engine was operating at a loss of power. The engine started shaking and the differential started to clunk as if it were going in and out of engagement.…

Engine stopped running, dash gauges blank. I managed to pull over without power brakes or steering! After a few minutes I was able to restart with "reduced engine power, traction control off, and stabilitrac" problems displayed on dash. I was a mile from home in -10f temps! I pulled it into my shop. Dtc code p2135…
