Airbag warning light goes on and off randomly. After some research this seems to be a common problem and it has even initiated some recalls but for other years. The problem stems from a bad clockspring which would prevent the airbag from deploying if there was an accident.

I was driving to work on the interstate at approximately 60 MPH, my airbag light flashes on, then flashes off, and proceeds to do this the rest of the 20 minutes I am both driving and in stop and go traffic. My airbag light continuously has been coming on. I took it to the dealer and they said that my "clock spring" had gone out. This is not a cheap piece of equipment. It costs over $200. I was reading up on other instances and this seems to be a common issue. If my airbag doesn't deploy, who do I sew?

Steering stabilizer has gone out 3 times since october 2009. First went out oct. 2009, then march 2010, and went out again sept. 18 2010. Replaced by dealer each time due to the fact the part has always been under warranty.

My 2008 Jeep wrangler has had many issues. One issue that seems to be an extreme safety concern is what people have come to call "the death wobble". I took my Jeep in about a year ago to have this issue addressed and they told me that it was my "bump steer and the steering dampener". So the dealer replaced it and it…

My 2008 Jeep wrangler 4x4 spun a bearing due to inferior manufacturing, assembly and parts. I was turning a traffic circle corner at approx 40mph when the engine shut off once the bearing spun. As a result, I lost power steering and brakes. Unfortunately this is very common with 2007-2008 Jeep wranglers. I think the…

Various dash lights turn on and back off after a couple of seconds. I had the problem in aug. 2013, and the dealership replaced the clock spring for $550. Less than two years later, and the problem has resurfaced. Very disappointed to see that only the 2008 rhd were recalled.
