Brakes did not apply as expected, experiencing a significant "push" while braking at low speed. It was so obvious that I had to step on the brake pedal to keep the car from running out into the car in front. This one time I crashed into front car. I took it to dealer to check the brakes, and he is saying they are…
The ABS actuator is making a creaking noise when the car is not moving and I am stepping on the brake. The noise goes away when I am stepping on the brake very lightly or when I let go of the brake. I googled this problem and I have seen a lot of people having this same kind of problem. On the Lexus forum they said…

I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I have experienced the engine accelerating on the 2007 Lexus 400h while coasting to stop signs. This occurrence started about 3-4 months after we got the car and does not occur all of the time. The gas pedal seems to override the engine acceleration problem, however, the…

My dashboard developed verticle cracks in the driver's side dashboard. Because this dashboard has the airbag inside on the passenger side I wouldn't feel safe in a car that had a cracked dash, anything that would make an airbag go off too soon or go off too late can or would be very serious.
The black molding on part# 84840g [phone] - switch assembly back door opener is extremely soft and sticky. Every time we put our hands on it to manually open the rear lift, black sticky substances get on the fingers, which are used to open it. That part is shielded somewhat by the body. It was sticky even during cold…

I was approaching a stop sign at about 10 miles per hour and stepped on the brake pedal to stop. The car braked normally at first, then the car either free-wheeled or lurched forward for about half a second, but as I continued to press on the brake the car came to a stop but a little further than I wanted. I have…
