The piston(s) that hold the hatch up have failed, while the vehicle was stationary. Since the hatch can not stay up, I can not tell whether it is one or both. Luckily, this occurred while the hatch was being lifted and not afterwards with an individual under the hatch. After the failure, I have raised the hatch and…

My horn is not working as a result of a spiral wire in the steering wheel is shorted out. Within the same wire set is the wire that controls the airbag. At about 28000 miles, without warning the brake pedal went almost to the floor during a routine stop. The brake pedal has been soft like that ever since. The dealer said that it might be fixed by a brake fluid flush and replace. I had ithat done at the dealer and if anything, it's slightly worse. Apparently the…

Lug nut studs broke when tightening on diver rear side and on passenger side front 100 ft lbs. They just stretched, and broke. Vehicle was on jack stands.
One of the wheels has a crack in it. It is a strange looking crack which I found when washing the car. The wheel is not damaged, it does not have any scuffing or dings and dents in it. The crack is about 1 1/8" long then turns 90 degrees and about 1/2" long at that end.

Desiccated air bag inflator rupture
Summary
From 2000 through 2017, takata produced millions of air bag inflators using two types of phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate ("psan") propellant -- propellant 2004 and propellant 2004l. After prolonged exposure to high temperature cycles and humidity, inflators using propellant 2004 can degrade, causing the propellant to burn too quickly when ignited. The rapid burning can cause the inflator to rupture during deployment, potentially causing serious or even fatal injury to vehicle occupants. See 2016 blomquist report at www.NHTSA.gov/sites/NHTSA.gov/files/documents/expert_report-hrblomquist.pdf.consequently, all frontal inflators using propellant 2004 that do not contain a "desiccant" (a substa
