I was driving on the highway at 55 MPH, when a loud pop noise from the rear happened. My vehicle spinned out of control several times in a circle before hitting a median barrier. I had the problem fixed in march 2014... The same problem happened again on 4/7/2014, except I didn't hit a median.
Frame rusted through on both left and right sides. Service manager made comment that frame rusted through from the inside of frame rail. Cadillac will not take any responsibility for repairs. Also includes rusting of fuel lines next to frame.

Transmission: seal
Risk: A rear differential failure may cause loss of motive power and possibly loss of control increasing the risk of a crash.

Odi evaluated two different alleged defects involving rear drivetrain components during this preliminary evaluation.gm is conducting a recall to address one of the defect conditions and odi has opened an engineering analysis to continue its investigation of the other alleged defect.
