Steering: electric power assist system
Risk: A loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring harness and electronic power steering gear, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed november 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 92d. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will became searchable on NHTSA.gov on october 6, 2026.

Rollx vans (rollx) is recalling certain gmc yukon, sierra, chevrolet express 2500, ford transit, e-250, toyota sienna, sienna hybrid, honda odyssey, chrysler town and country, voyager, pacifica, dodge grand caravan, and ram promaster vehicles equipped with qrt-deluxe and qrt-max wheelchair restraints. Please refer to rollx's recall report for specific model year information. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Engine: radiator assembly
Risk: Electrical circuits that overheat increase the risk of a fire.
Fix: Dealers will replace the cooling fan module and fuse. In addition dealers will provide an addendum for the manual and label for the power distribution center. Some interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed december 11, 2025. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning december 11, 2025. Additional owner notification letters were mailed in january, march, and june 2026. Remaining owner notification letters are expected to be mailed july 2026. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 111, "rear visibility."

Summary
The office of defects investigation (odi) has received 19 vehicle owner questionnaires (voqs) alleging an intermittent or complete failure of the power steering assist system in certain model year (my) 2022-2023 ram promaster 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles. Failure of the power steering assist system can result in increased steering effort required to control the vehicle. An increase in steering effort can potentially lead to a loss of directional control of the vehicle. Several received reports allege failures of the steering rack with specific reports citing water intrusion into the electrical connectors of the electric power steering control module.
